About the Farm
What started as a family hobby in the 1970’s after taking agricultural and beekeeping classes at Ventura College, the Mitchel’s dove into the realm of honey production. In the 1980’s, David Mitchel converted this hobby into a business and the family now has over 1,000 colonies under production, pollinating floral sources in the Ojai Valley and throughout Ventura..
